[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]A personal story from Juliane Ilgert, 26 years old, legal student and trail runner from the Alps in the Allgaeuer region and a member of the ASICS Frontrunner Team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year, in October, it will be the fourth time that I will be standing at the starting line and running the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon.\u00a0 Why will I as a trail runner be starting by a street marathon? Frankfurt is Germany\u2019s only city with a skyline \u2013 even though I\u2019m a nature fan, it\u2019s always a new highlight to run between the skyscrapers.\u00a0 The crowning takes place when you run over the finish line in the convention Centre: running across the red carpet over the finish line and being cheered on by hundreds of spectators and then taken care afterwards in the runner\u2019s village.\u00a0 It\u2019s still even after a fourth time a breath-taking experience that gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes.<\/p>\n

In addition, that my team the ASICS Frontrunners are also starting \u2013 to start with my friends is a cool city is not only fun but also motivating.<\/p>\n

My preparation takes place mostly in Allgaeu on the trails and streets.\u00a0 There, I train with the ASICS Noosa FF and the ASICS FuzeX Rush, the same ones I will be wearing when I run, they are not only very comfortable and very light, but they also look stylish as well.<\/p>\n
