These young athletes are traditionally the first ones to get a big reception on the red carpet in the Festhalle by a cheering audience, enthusiastic parents and proud siblings \u2013 its a special experience for the entire family. And these youngster hit the ground running. Not even 15 minutes after the start signal the first runners crossed the finish line. Sasha M\u00fcller (15) \u00a0from SSC Hanau-Rodenbach fulfilled his dream of becoming first in the overall ranking. \u201eGetting to the finish here was always something very special for me but to actually win the race is a super feeling and something I have wanted for a long time\u201c, said Sasha who finished in 13:34 minutes. His club mate Marius Abele followed jaust three seconds behind. Third place went to Mika Noodt (VfL Wolfsburg\/13:56). Five among the top eight runners were all talents from the SSC Hanau-Rodenbach where they prepare every year especially for the Mini-Marathon. \u201eIt was a very tactical race because the top field was made up of runners from the whole of Germany\u201c, said Sasha. Number 16 in the\u00a0 overall ranking and first girl to cross the finish line was Larissa L\u00f6b (click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-marathon.com\/en\/i-put-everything-into-the-final-sprint\/\">here<\/a> for the interview) from Worms in 15:59 minutes.
