„Frankfurt – the fastest Marathon“

After extensive research from Manfred Steffny (from the running magazine Spiridon), the Frankfurt Marathon is the fastest marathon in Germany. He took into consideration the average marathon-performance from men and women by marathons in the year 2016.  By the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon 2016, the average finishing-time was (3:47:11) for men and (4:16:27) for women.  To prove the numbers weren’t just a coincidence, the numbers didn’t lie as shown in the results from the Frankfurt Marathon in 2010.  There the average times were 3:49:36 for men and 4:12:34 for women. Frankfurt stays for the majority, the fastest marathon.
