Volunteers
of the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon
If you are registered for a shift on Friday and/or Saturday and have selected a parking ticket for the exhibition grounds, you will receive the relevant information about parking options at the exhibition grounds from us by email in mid-October.
If you are registered for Sunday’s event and have ordered a RMV ticket, you will receive the RMV ticket from us by mail in mid-October.
The volunteer shirts are unisex long-sleeved shirts. The size specified during registration is not binding. The query serves as a guide for the organizer when placing the order. The appropriate size can be selected directly on site.
As a thank you, all volunteers will receive the official volunteer shirt, a Mainova Frankfurt Marathon baseball cap, and our voucher booklet with numerous discounts. Refreshments will also be provided on site.
Of course, we will also provide each volunteer with the necessary equipment for their respective tasks. In addition, all volunteers will receive an RMV ticket (for assignments on Sunday) or free parking at the exhibition grounds (for assignments on Friday and Saturday).
During the event weekend, our volunteers have access to crew catering. From sandwiches, sausages, and salads to sweets and, of course, cold and hot drinks, there is something for everyone. Volunteers who are not working in the exhibition area will receive a packed lunch at their place of work. Please feel free to bring something to drink and a small snack for in between meals.
For most areas of work, we recommend a minimum age of 16. Younger volunteers should ideally be accompanied by an adult during their assignment. A minimum age of 18 applies for course safety.
We assume that you understand German and can provide information accordingly.
For our planning and calculation purposes, it is best if you register using the registration form. This will enable us to send you all the necessary information. If you happen to have time during the event weekend and would like to support us, please feel free to come to our volunteer meeting point in Hall 1, Level 1 at the exhibition center.
